Thanks for opening the door to my artistic world. Was it my name? My words? The title of my novels or my music that made you do it? Whatever it was, I’m happy you are here. Your presence makes the sound of my stories louder, it makes them travel and amplify.
I have published two novels, Looking for Clara and Frozen Butterflies, but I have more novels, stories that are waiting to be released. I was waiting for the echo of the first two works to come back to me with the intensity and clarity that I needed to release the other stories. “Is there anyone out there?” Clara and Butterflies ask. If I heard a clear “yes,” I could release the others. I keep writing, I could not do otherwise, but I think releasing your stories into the world is a different matter. It requires an audience who understands and is willing to read, hear, feel, respond, send that sound back to the author who first produced it, and send it louder, so that that exchange could continue and grow in intensity and meaning.
So, yes, it’s truly extraordinary that you have entered my artistic world. I hope you’ll stay and play with me, and help me play better.
